My husband loves my cards. I made him this one using the Urban Paper Collection from CTMH and created it in CDS. It was completely done in Design Space and required no hand cutting of pieces. I embellished it with tiny screw shaped brads from the Tim Holtz product line, ribbon button from CTMH and ribbon I purchased online.
I loved this little box from the past so much I just had to bring it back and add a little twist to it. I have no idea where the Original idea of the folded box came from or just how long it’s been out there but here is just one of the ones I’ve done. This one was created and cut in Cricut Design Space. The link to the file can be gotten in the Red version previously posted called Gift Box within a Purse. I used the paper collection Sonoma, Coco Ink, and some odds and ends for embellishing from Close To My Heart. The paper collection is retired. It was my favorite collection that year so I decided to use it for this project, I’m glad I did. I love how I was able to fussy cut some of the pieces to embellish it to give it even more interest and depth.
Hi there everyone,
Soon I will be adding a new post every week featuring a past product and details on how to create the said product. It might be a card idea, a layout of some kind, a past workshop, or 3 D project. I know I have lots of past paper collection and many wonderful creations from said collections. So I will be sharing them soon. I hope to have my first one up before the week is out, just trying to decide where to start. So stay tuned and come visit and see whats happening, leave a comment if you like what you see or have a question regarding the project. I also am currently working on several workshops that will be up in the near future. I will keep everyone posted on that progress.
Thanks, I look forward to sharing with you
This is my first attempt at the Card in a Box. I made this for my granddaughters 8th. birthday using the New Revised Z Fold Card -IN-A-Box by Deb Valder of stampladee.com I hope she likes it. I had to make a 1/4″ deep envelope for it because it is so thick. It is made with the Lollydoodle Paper Collection.
It was funny watching Sydnee getting her face painted. She wanted her face painted like a butterfly. She didn’t believe the lady understood that it had to be the same on both sides. We all had to laugh when she stopped her and asked her if she was sure she was doing it right.
Tim and I had always wanted to go to Stone Mountain, so during spring break we decided to take the grand kids and go. The weather was perfect and all the flowers were in full bloom. It was a great time and even though we were there for the week we still didn’t do all that we wanted. I guess we will have to go back again some time.
Tim and I took the kids to the Tennessee Aquarium with a good friend from Wisconsin “Ramona”.
We had so much fun and it was a first time visit to the Aquarium for us all.
Hey Mom, I caught one. I hope no one is hungry because we can’t feed us all with this catch of the day. Sarah seems to always be the one to catch the fish.
